About Me

Hi, my name is Alex and I am passionate about playing tennis and golf, and I enjoy running. Being active is a big part of my identity. I am working at Longwood Cricket Club in Brookline as a junior pro. During the weekends in the school year, I work at The Thoreau Club in Concord. I have been taking lessons since I was 5 years old at Oakley Country Club.

Teaching Style

My teaching style focuses on blending technical proficiency with a passion for the game to bring together both skill development and enjoyment on the court. I typically start my lessons with warm-up exercises that incorporate fundamental skills before moving into more specific drills and practice scenarios. I have found that breaking down techniques into manageable steps and providing constructive feedback helps players grasp concepts effectively. Once I feel a player is at the right level, I will often integrate match simulations and strategic discussions to really help the players understanding of game tactics and decision-making while in a match. My overall goal is for the player to walk away from every lesson feeling accomplished with their improvement while also having ideas on how to continue to grow.
