About Me

Hello, my name is Adrian and I have been playing competitive tennis for 14 years and teaching tennis on and off to all ages and skill levels for 5 years (mainly during the summer time). I competed at the highest levels of junior tennis, maintaining a top 20 ranking in Texas at the Super Champ level throughout all junior age divisions (12-18). I also played tennis at the collegiate level for St. Edward's University (12-15) here in Austin. With my time at St. Edward's, I was apart of 4 consecutive Conference Championships, earned the Heartland Conference Men's Tennis All Conference Team Honor (2014), and earned numerous student-athlete academic awards and honors.

Not only will I be able to help improve your and/or child's game with quality instruction and practice, but I also have many connections and a great understanding of the Austin tennis community, and can help you find exactly what you are looking for.

**Parents** - Having grown up playing competitive junior tennis, I have a great understanding of junior tennis and can answer any questions and give great advice about various aspects such as: tournament scheduling; balancing tennis and academics; the college recruitment process; parent, child, and coach relationships; mental toughness; finding the right tennis academy/program and so much more!
**Adults** - Can give advice and information about matters relating to USTA, ATL (Austin Tennis League), can answer any questions you may have and help you find what you are looking for!

Teaching Style

I believe in hand-fed balls for technique and footwork practice. Mainly, I believe live ball practice and point play with someone who is better than the student. I am open to work on things the student desires but also can analyze the student's game quickly and can work on things I see needs improvement as well.
