About Me
I'm from Charlotte, NC, and played Div. I tennis for North Carolina State University. I was ranked in top 10 in North Carolina as a junior. I am currently the head tennis pro at the Marcus Jewish Community Center in Dunwoody, GA. We have 14 Alta women's and junior teams and six USTA teams that I coach along with multiple private, semi-private and women's drills classes. I am also in charge of teaching boot camp and "stroke of the week" classes twice a week. I am USPTA and PTR certified along with being a USRSA racquet stringer. I am also an active member of the GPTA.
Teaching Style
My lessons are structured so my student has an clear understanding of the skills and techniques that we will practice with a review at the end of the session. I emphasize correct grips and footwork with the various open and closed stances of forehands and backhands. I enjoy teaching tennis and want my students to have fun while playing and learning.
