Tennis Serving Practice

You can’t start the point in tennis without serving, which is why it’s one of the most important aspects of the game. In order to become a top player you have to have a great serve, but getting there isn’t easy. Serving is a complex stroke whether you’re learning the motion for the first time or refining an aspect of it as an advanced player. Mastering the service motion requires the help of a qualified tennis instructor and plenty of practice.

Even those who have been playing tennis for years still struggle with serving. Advanced players may want help learning or developing a slice serve, topspin serve or kick serve. MyTennisLessons instructors who have played competitively at a high level can help you with these more complex serves and all of our coaches are qualified to teach serving basics. If you want to take a lesson solely dedicated to the serve, be sure to specify in the “Lesson Notes” that you are looking for serving practice.
