About Me
Hi, my name is Zach! I have a loving passion for playing and teaching the game of tennis. It has played a vital role in my life for the past 20 plus years and being involved in any way that I can is something I love.
My playing experience consisted of playing at the varsity level in high school for 4 years (team MVP 3 out of 4 years, number 1 singles play each 4 years), and then at the collegiant level at an NCAA Division II University for 4 years as well in both singles and doubles. I have given lessons on and off for the past 15 years. I enjoy teaching tennis to those at any talent level whether it's with beginners that have never played, or those looking to play at a highly competitive level.
Teaching Style
The importance of footwork, preparation, proper technique, strategy, and endurance are all structured in to any lesson that I give to my students. You will get out of a lesson what you are willing to put into it, and I first always ask the student what they want to work on before any lesson begins. I like to keep things basic at first, which is the fundamentals and having fun. Tennis is a game after all!
