As a top USTA nationally ranked junior player, I was recruited to play at the University of Arizona. After my freshman year I left school to tour professionally. Eight months into my career, I endured a career-ending back injury that shifted my focus to the coaching side of the game. With the importance of physical maintenance and fitness, I bring a unique combination of high-level playing experience and fitness training to the game. My passionate and patient approach allows me to thrive with players of all skill levels. I was recently featured in national fitness programs and DVDs, allowing me to keep expanding my knowledge base and tailor workout plans to help clients of all levels succeed on and off the court.

“Zach is simply amazing. He is one of the best tennis instructors around. He’s extremely professional, fun and talented. Our experience overall with my tennis lessons has been a walk in the park. I would highly recommend MyTennisLessons.com services to anyone looking for a good tennis instructor.”

Best tennis lesson ever - Zach's tips were simple and made marked improvements in my game immediately. I've had lessons at exclusive private clubs by the pros that paled in comparison to Zach. His attitude and obvious love of the game are exemplary. A true joy! He's also punctual and kind and considerate, which goes a long way in my book. I've never had a teacher like Zach before and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Top notch teacher, and a great person as well.

Zach is great with kids. Patient but firm. Keeps them focused on technique... again and again... until they get it.
