About Me
Hi, my name is Sean. I am a former Division I collegiate tennis player and competed at North Carolina State University from 2010-2014. Following my graduation I spent a brief time traveling and competing at the professional level before starting work as an assistant tennis professional at a country club in Raleigh, NC. I am currently pursuing a career in medicine and no longer teach tennis full time. However, I am still passionate about tennis and love to share my knowledge of the game with those who are willing to learn!
Teaching Style
While I am proficient at teaching singles tactics and skills, I love the game of doubles and very much enjoy teaching to both individuals and teams of two. As a collegiate player I was ranked among the top 25 teams in the country with 4 different doubles partners, and it is my goal to pass along my knowledge of the game so that you can succeed at whatever level you are playing. As a coach, I recognize that every player is an individual and a "cookie-cutter" technical approach is not effective for most learners. I like to focus on improving your strengths and minimizing weaknesses within your game.
