About Me
I am an experienced tennis professional with a modern take on the game. I've competed in many top level tournaments around California as well as different parts of the country. I was nationally ranked as a junior and won the state championship. I then competed on a scholarship to the University of Tennessee. I have learned many different styles of tennis and have helped more than 100 students grow from their first lesson with me. I specialize in private, semi-private, and group lessons ranging from ages 4 to 80 years of age. I am particularly good at preparing my students for matches, tournaments, high school teams, and even as well as college. I love being able to help each one of my students achieve their goals! Tennis is a life long sport and a game that everyone can learn to play and keep playing for the rest of their lives.
Teaching Style
I specialize in basic fundamentals, ground strokes, volleys, footwork, and tennis strategy. I also prepare all my students for tournament play as well as watch and take notes during their matches. I currently have several students climbing up the rankings and playing tournaments through out Southern California in the USTA.

Robert is great, watches closely and explains in simple terms
Even though I’ve been playing tennis for decades I really didn’t know how to play tennis with good technique or how to improve to the next level. My first tennis lesson with Robbi was excellent, he is very knowledgeable and had a professional and nice way of coaching me. I have much to improve and it may take a long time before I achieve where I want to be on the court but I am looking forward being coached by Robbi in order to get there.
He’s a great coach knowledgeable and funny. I’ve learned a lot in just a few lessons.
after just 2 lessons and minor adjustments, Robert increased my serve velocity
and first serve percentage by an incredible amount. The guy is excellent
