About Me
Hi, my name is Robert. I have been teaching for 15 years in Katy, TX. I started playing tennis since I was 8 years old, and played some semi professional tournaments in Chile (winning a few and being runner-up in others).
Have a passion for tennis and also love to teach. I’m bilingual English and Spanish.
I have great communications skills and patience. I notice all errors and bad tennis habits in the first session
and explain every technical aspect in great detail to my students.
My biggest goal with each student is not only to improve their level week by week but also to get their confidence in me as they see good progress in their game. I do my lessons also in a fun way, because I feel great when my students enjoy each training session on the court.
Teaching Style
I first evaluate the level of the player, will check how the student grips the racquet, and will make my student hit 150 shots in the 1-hour lesson feeding him/her balls from a short distance if they are beginners, or from the baseline if they are intermediate or advanced players. All combined with footstep drills with focus on the timing / tempos before swinging and hitting.

A great coach that focuses on the technique of your swing. Improved my game a lot and is willing to work on what you feel is the weakest. Not only does the training session but, will play sets in order for you to work on what you learned. Very active and will get you to where you need to be quick.
