About Me
Hi, my name is Mike. I grew up playing tennis and have continued to play my entire life. I have worked with children and adults of all ages. I spent my summers teaching at the local summer camps that I learned to play at, and am now starting to get back into coaching again. I still love to play and compete, and am looking to share my passion for the sport with others.
Teaching Style
I teach tennis with a focus on fundamentals, tailoring the lessons to each students age and experience. The lessons can range from technically focused to simple tennis games to get comfortable with the correct grips. I am also willing to record the lessons and review to help get a deeper understanding of where they can improve.

I started tennis as an adult, have taken many lessons with multiple coaches, but I found Mike as the best coach for me. What I like about Mike is, he focuses on the student’s understanding of the mechanics of techniques, instead of just giving bunch of corrections. That way I can think of how to correct myself when I’m not playing well. I think he is a very smart and intelligent coach, not only he is super athletic. He is also very patient and kind.
Coach Mike’s approach to kids is very fun and encouraging. He makes kids feel excited to play tennis. Also he has a really good eye to find what are missing in student’s skills or games, and gives helpful feedbacks. Plus, Mike is very responsive and great in communication.
