About Me
Hello! My name is Tia. I'm a competitive tennis player and coach with experience working with juniors, high school athletes, adults and Division I college players.
As a player, I earned full ride scholarships through tennis. I have won college and national titles, competed in ITF Junior tournaments, represented Pacific Oceania in the Billie Jean King Cup, and compete in professional tournaments. I continue to compete at a high level while sharing my knowledge and passion for the sport with others.
My goal is to create a positive, challenging, and enjoyable learning environment where players can reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love for tennis. I'm here to help and build each player to grow their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game.
Teaching Style
I believe players learn best when they understand the why behind each shot. I break down concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps and ask questions that help players think through different situations. Whether you want to improve a specific stroke or your overall game, I'll create fun, challenging drills that build confidence, understanding, and match-ready skills.

Yes, I can travel up to 20 miles to a tennis court in your area.
