About Me
Hi, my name is Kuda Sengai. I am originally from Zimbabwe.
I grew up and played my junior tennis in my home town where I was one of the top juniors in the country. I am currently the Assistant Tennis Coach at Our Lady of the Lake University where I graduated from. During my college career, my team was ranked as high as 21 in the nation. At this time, I managed to play both singles and doubles at position 1.
I am a young certified and energetic pro. I have been teaching tennis since 2005. I have experience in teaching absolute beginners, junior players and advanced players. I have coached players who eventually played for their junior national teams. I also have a couple of players who have made it to their high school teams.
I give hitting lessons to clients of all levels and I am comfortable with teaching any level from beginning to advanced.
Teaching Style
I am a flexible instructor. I structure my lessons, based on the level of play. Sometimes a student may need ball feeding, while others may need live ball-hitting. Above all, I enjoy doing any type of lesson as long as I am on the court, doing what I love.

Kuda was great. Great coach, fine person, and just fun to be around. First lesson was spent doing a little of everything, giving him the opportunity to evaluate my technique. After that, he focused on the "big ticket" items to build my effectiveness as a player in the shortest time. I've only taken 6 lessons so far, am leaving San Antonio for a bit but, to sum it up in one word, it was "great." I feel more comfortable in my swing, have a better picture of how to move and use my feet, and feel more consistent. I recommend Kuda to anyone who is interested in learning the game from a good natured, quality professional.
