About Me
Hi, my name is Femi, director of tennis. I am a former assistant professional at Piney Point Racquet Club. I played collegiate tennis at TSU and a former top ranked junior in Nigeria. I also represented Nigeria in the US Jr.Open. I played professional Satellite and Professional Futures Tournaments.
Teaching Style
Session plan
1) Evaluate the level of the players.
2) Determine the comfort level with different strokes (forehand,backhand,volley,serve,slice)
3) Help the player to set goals and guide him or her to achieve them
4) Break down each ground stroke detail.
5) Teach players tips and help him or her recognize what they are doing incorrectly.
6) Show them tennis from a scientific point of view,meaning for example: why does the ball react differently to certain strokes and styles?
7) Develop problem that integrates improvement in tennis and physical fitness analysis.
