Passionate about teaching others and sharing what I've learned about this sport in competing and studying it. Tennis Director/Owner of Forefront Tennis in Oakland/Montclair Certified: RSPA (Elite Professional) and other groups. Certifications matter but nothing beats actually coaching hundreds of students and understanding how to make progress with students. I coach advanced beginners (adults and juniors) all the way up to high performance juniors up to UTR 6.5. My rallying ability extends to UTR 8.0 and I've learned dozens of advanced drills from my certifications and running high performance junior clinics. I teach at various time blocks during the week at the Montclair Tennis Courts conveniently located off of the 13 freeway.
Teaching Style
Most of my students say I'm patient, but I'd say I'm analytical and committed to improvement step-by-step. With smaller kids I do lighten up abit and for everyone else I'm personable but also serious. I don't pass up a chance to make a joke or laugh at something particularly funny during a lesson though.

I've never heard her so excited and appreciative of a coach after spending time with them than she has been with you. She very much needs what you are teaching her (technique and mental).
