About Me
My name is Ariadna Riley, and I’m originally from Macon, Georgia.
I’ve had the privilege of playing for the University of Tennessee’s women’s tennis team on a full athletic all four years of my undergraduate career. During this time, I achieved a career high national ranking of #15 in doubles and #65 in singles at primarily the #1 and #3 spots for doubles and the #3 and #5 spots for singles. In addition, I served as team captain both my junior and senior years, and was named a finalist for the prestigious ITA Ann Lebedeff Leadership Award. Prior to and during my collegiate career, I competed in several professional tournaments across the globe.
This elite background has afforded me the most intricate level of experience with respect to strategy, player development, motivation, discipline, and building on-court confidence for players of all levels and ages.
Teaching Style
My coaching philosophy is designed to meet the diverse needs of players at every level and with varying goals. For beginners, I focus on building a solid foundation with fundamental skills and a clear understanding of the game while building greater on-court confidence and showing just how fun tennis is! For intermediate players, I fine-tune techniques and introduce advanced strategies to elevate performance. For advanced players, I offer more sophisticated drills and strengthen tennis strategy to sharpen a player’s competitive edge.
I would describe my teaching style as adaptive and personalized, ensuring that each player receives the attention and guidance they need to reach their unique objectives. I foster a positive and encouraging environment where players can push their limits, learn from their experiences, and enjoy the journey of improvement! Whether you’re aiming to master the basics, enhance your competitive edge, or simply enjoy the game more, my coaching approach is tailored to help you achieve your goals and grow as a player.
