Teaching Style
My teaching style seeks to integrate all aspects of the game as quickly as possible. A standard 1 hour lesson is typically structured as follows: 1) Physical Preparation (Warm-up, 5-10 mins), 2) Stroke Development (Ground strokes & Volleys/Overheads, 15-20 mins), 3) Serving Practice (Serve & Serve Return, 10-15 mins), 4) Simulated Point Play (10-15 mins), 5) Cool down (5 mins).
Though all stroke techniques are important, I emphasize proper serve and serve return technique the most - these compound movements can quite easily cause a variety of injuries if performed wrong. My specialties are serve and serve return. My serve has been clocked at over 130mph.

Though I started with very much of a beginner level, my skill improved a lot in a short time just by following every advice Andrew made for me.
Very patient and positive. He gives clear instructions and examples that the student can follow and imitate. Serve vastly improved after only one lesson.
I am completely impressed with Andrews Coaching Skills. He is really having great Tennis techniques and his strength is to provide the training depending upon our convenient levels.
Patient, excellent tennis skills, great student/teacher rapport...all-around great coach!
Andrew is an excellent tennis coach and a great guy. He works hard and offers good advice/techniques about what you might be doing wrong, but he gives it in a way that never makes you feel bad. It's all about tweaking your game to get better over time. Thank you Andrew.
Andrew has helped me immediately. He has pointed out that I was not leading with my core on my groundstrokes and not making contact with the ball out in front. On the serve, he has shown me a way to get it more consistent by changing how I hold the ball. Additionally, Andrew has pointed out that I need to hit the ball, reach for it higher at the top of the toss and feel a stretch in my left side. This has allowed me to improve the consistency of getting the ball in the service box and with more depth and speed. I have accomplished this with only two lessons so far, and I am getting more immediate results than I have had with many other coaches.
