About Me
Hi, my name is Ally. I grew up in Plymouth, MN and have been playing tennis my whole life. I started getting competitive about practice and playing around age 13 after watching the US Open in New York. After high school I played for two years with the team at Brigham Young University-Hawaii, we won the NCAA DIvision II National Championship both years (2006-2007). I worked under the direction of my award winning coach from BYUH offering private and group lessons to athletes ages 7-16 at summer camp. I also played for University club teams; winning regional championships and was the assistant coach of a high school team in Minnesota. I recently graduated with my second bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of Utah, I also have a bachelors in exercise science from Brigham Young University. This helps me to understand body mechanics, kinesiology and important tips for taking care of the body.
Teaching Style
I like to base lessons around what you are most interested in improving. I think it is important to improve not just through drills, but through playing out points and games. This will help to not just improve strokes, but reinforce footwork, and mental aspects of the game.

Yes, I can travel up to 15 miles to a tennis court in your area.
