My name is Suzanne. I graduated from UC Irvine with International Studies degree and a Chinese minor. I've been playing tennis for 17 years. In the juniors, I was ranked top-35 in Northern California's girl's 18s. I continued to play tennis at UCI's competitive club. In addition, I won multiple 4.5 and 5.0 doubles tournaments in Southern California. After college, I went to a community college to take some extracurricular courses and played on the tennis team. By the end of the season, I finished at no. 4 among California's junior college players. I've been teaching tennis for 10 years with Aztec Tennis, Racquet Club of Irvine and Bay Star Tennis. I love teaching children.
When I teach children, I like to keep them on their feet. I want them to have a great time and enjoy tennis.

Suzanne is an awesome coach. She pays attention to details to help me improve. After just 3 lessons, I felt like I've improved more than I've had for years. She's also great at listening to my feedback so I can easily communicate what worked well and what did not. Prior to Suzanne, I tried contacting 2 other coaches on this site who were unreliable. Suzanne is the complete opposite! A hard worker and very reliable.
I'm a beginner and just had my first lesson with Suzanne. After just one lesson I feel like I learned and improved so much. She was able to recognize what my level was immediately. She showed me how to improve my swing, and she pointed out what my biggest problems are and what I need to work on. It was fun to work with her, and it was also a good workout. I'm looking forward to improving more under her guidance.
Suzanne is great! Not all good players are good teachers. Suzanne is both.
She listens well when I communicate my flaws and offers several suggestions because sometimes not all suggestions work. Her best trait is that she is an EXCELLENT LISTENER.
I'm a 3.0 player. Suzanne helped improve all parts of my game after even a few lessons. I highly recommend Suzanne.
She will also help you with body conditioning which is an important part of the game.
The thing I like best is that she has been able to explain or describe or show me how to make changes in my strokes and serve that I have been able to feel and begin to implement. She has also been able to adapt to the fact that I can only think about one thing at a time when trying to make changes.
