About Me

Hello! My name is Sam and I am currently in Killeen, Texas.

I graduated from Ferris State University with a Professional Tennis Management degree and USPTA certified along with being an ICI Professional Coach (Spanish Tennis) I just recently coached at Sanchez Casal and actively competing and playing tournaments.

I am passionate about helping players that are willing to learn and put themselves out there to compete.

I will also be willing to travel with players to tournaments if that is an interest.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is very much based on consistency. What do we need to do to get a player more consistent. Sometimes that means footwork, or technique or even being more aggressive. I want a player to play like a professional meaning they take their time, don't make unnecessary errors, have a strong presence on court. My goal will always be preparing a player to compete. We don't practice just to hit balls.....we practice to be able to handle pressure, know what to exactly do on court, and if we make a few mistakes, we learn from them and on to the next match and tournament. Tournaments and match play will be the most important tool to improving a player and I will always emphasize this importance.
