About Me

Hi my name is Jordan. I am a recent graduate from Temple University, with a degree in finance. I currently work as a financial analyst at an insurance company in Philadelphia, but I love to play and teach tennis nights and weekends. I started playing tennis around the age of 3 or 4-years-old, and took lessons/played in tournaments throughout grade school. I played singles all four years at Haverford High School, finishing as the team's captain in my senior year. I also played for Temple University's club team in my junior and senior year of college, finishing my senior year as the team's captain. Currently, I plays in various leagues and clinics in the Greater Philadelphia area, and teach players of all ages and skill levels.

Teaching Style

Through my lessons, I create an open, comfortable environment, in which the student is encouraged to ask questions and discuss strengths and weaknesses of their game. I stress physical fitness as a key proponent of a successful tennis lifestyle. I specialize in teaching proper ground stroke technique, serving, volleys and overheads, and strategy. Lessons start with a warm-up, continue with student-specific drills and activities , and conclude with a game to apply each concept taught.
