About Me
Hi, my name is Bo. I played for a D1 school throughout my undergrad degree at Campbell University in North Carolina. For singles, I used to play at second and third position. For doubles, my biggest achievement was #1 doubles team with my partner, Karolina. As a team, we had 13 wins in a row during the spring semester of my senior year. My teaching experience started in 2010. I was a tennis coach in Chipinaw and French Woods summer camps at New York area where I have taught private tennis lessons to children from age 8 to 14. I was also responsible for the children's group lessons (10 to 12 kids per group). The summers of 2014 and 2015, I taught adults and children at American University.
Teaching Style
Warm up from the T for 5 min and then move back (5min). Then, HIT various drills/games depending on the player's preference (30min). Last 15 minutes, hit some serves.

Student Feedback
Bo is an amazing coach!
Bo was a great coach, very knowledgable and patient with my two tweens who had never played before. She made the lessons fun and mixed up the different skills. I definitely recommend her for kids.
Superb coach. Excellent tennis skills (of course). Communicates very well, and is really patient and punctual. Highly recommended.
Brilliant player and teacher. Know the game better than anyone I have learned from. A competitive player who knows how to teach as well. Highly recommended.
Bo is both a brilliant player and coach. She has a keen eye for anything that needs correcting. Ideal for beginners to pros. Highly recommended.
Borislava is a talented coach who meets the students where they are, not where she hopes they might be. She is inventive and creative in the way she approaches her teaching. I would heartily recommend her, even for semi-reluctant and not-very-sporty teens!
I'm an infrequent recreational player and finally decided I wanted to get better. Borislava was able to quickly determine my strengths and weaknesses, point out adjustments, and design useful drills and exercises. Lessons are very productive, fun and a good workout - her attitude is positive and supportive. Lessons have definitely motivated me to want to play more, and I've gained both skill and confidence thanks to my lessons.
