About Me
Hello!
My name is Boban, I'm a 19 year old private tennis instructor located in Columbus, OH. I am a sophomore, Sport Management and Communications major at Otterbein University. I have played tennis for 7+ years, and compete on my university's Men's tennis team. I am a 4.5 NTRP rated tennis player, and have been coaching for 1 year currently. I have been given numerous accolades and awards for my tennis abilities, all throughout high school and offer an affordable and flexible coaching experience.
Teaching Style
I tend to emphasize positivity over all else, I want to make sure my lessons are relaxed on the court and enjoying themselves, as that is how they will be successful during a match. Lesson's are structured differently based on how good the player is. With a beginner, I emphasize proper racquet grips, swing pattern work, general information about the game, and just trying to get the ball back. With more advanced lessons, I utilize light conditioning elements, developing racquet head speed, shot placement, using variety, and working on different types of serves (topspin/kick, slice, flat). I specialize mainly with kids under 12.
