About Me
Competitive college tennis player: played for Purdue University for 4 years, and currently playing my final year for Nova Southeastern University. Started playing tennis at 6 years old and have been practicing ever since. Would love to share my knowledge with people trying to learn how to play.
Teaching Style
For beginners, starting with ground strokes (forehand, backhand) short court is crucial to establish the right technique. Then moving further back, adding volleys and slowly building the game. Repetition is key, so I make sure my students get the chance to repeat the movement enough that it gets ingrained. I make sure to ask questions and see where my students stand, what they think about their level, what they like, dislike, would like to improve, etc.
