About Me
I am a strong, willing, devoted, hard working, caring, loving, and supportive person. I love coaching tennis and seeing the faces that enjoy doing so. I am well-educated about the sport and am willing to share the knowledge with anyone that is welling to learn it. I love people and have a great sense of humor.
Teaching Style
As a coach, I strive to teach the fundamentals to adults and kids. I strongly emphasize fundamentals. I structure my lessons by having a 10 to 15 minute warm-up (running, exercising and getting the mind and body ready to have fun learning tennis). After increasing the heart rate or getting the body moving, I start my students at the service line to begin our lesson.

Tershelle is AWESOME! Knowledgable and capable of teaching the smallest of kiddos to Seniors. At my age , senior, I was worried about how far I could grow and if my instructor would have the patience and know just how far to push me. She excelled across the board. Very patient, very supportive and my biggest cheerleader. Accolades when my stroke improved and I was hitting well. Suggestions and helpful critiquing when I was making repetitive mistakes. I learned everything from proper racquet hand position to delivering a good serve, placement of both forearm and backhand strokes. How to receive a ball with a spin on it, blocking at the net and above all moving my feet. I looked forward to every class and definitely feel that I have improved since I started lessons with her. Can't wait to sign up for round two in the future because I will miss her expertise.
My 13 yr old daughter was nervous going in to her first lesson with Tershelle, but oh my heavens. After talking to my daughter after the lesson, you'd think she had a new best friend/mentor/professional encourager! Not only was Tershelle professional and positive, but my daughter felt as if she improved by leaps and bounds after just one hour with Tershelle. Beyond grateful for this experience and so excited about how she'll help my daughter grow as a tennis player!
Tershelle is a fabulous coach - she is incredibly kind, patient and knowledgeable. She really helped my wife and I develop our ground strokes, serves and volleys. I highly recommend her!
Coach Tershelle is such an awesome tennis instructor!! My son was a beginner and at 14 that can be intimidating to start a new sport. She was the perfect coach for him. She was patient, supportive, fun, and creative during every single lesson. He loved coming to lessons and wants to continue working with her in the future.

Terchelle is fantastic! She is knowledgeable, courteous, polite and patient. She is providing specific and detailed instruction to my teen while providing encouragement. For the first time, my child is looking forward to learning and practicing a sport. Terchelle brings years of experience and passion to her lessons, and that's infectious!

Tershell is professional coach and teaches excellent tennis technics. My daughter and son like her very much. She has become a very good friend to our kids. She understands kids strengths and allows kids to play tennis in their own comfort.
