About Me
My name is Taylor and I graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate in December of 2014. I competed all four years at the division one level. My first two years I played for Auburn University in the Southeastern Conference before I transferred to USC Upstate and finished my last two years there in the Atlantic Sun Conference. During my campaign at USC Upstate we had one of the best seasons in school history where we finished 14-7 and third overall in the conference. Both years I competed at the number one doubles position and moved between lines one, two, and three in singles. I am currently living in Brookhaven, Georgia right next to Blackburn Park.
Teaching Style
Depending on your level and style of game will depend on how we will move forward. At a beginners level we will focus more on fundamentals and how to play tennis. As the student becomes more advanced is when you can start tailoring the lessons to their needs with things like strategy, how to improve footwork, and how to continue growing and competing at a higher level. The ability for a coach to adapt to the player will enable growth from the not only the player, but the coach as well.
