About Me

Hi, my name is Stephen. I started playing tennis at a young age. I was one of the best juniors in the area. My tennis team in high school made it to state and I played college art Denison University. I have taught at prestigious clubs in the area, such as St. Louis Country Club and Ladue Racquet Club. I also currently teach high school tennis for John Burroughs who is consistently one of the best high school tennis teams in the state. I enjoy passing my wealth of knowledge of the game on my students.

Teaching Style

Typically people have a misson or goal for what they want to accomplish in a lesson.  My task is to work collabartivley with my clinet to meet their goal or need.  For example, it could be how to hit a slice serve.  Another could be I have no idea how to play tennnis and I need to learn everything.  Alternativley one could be I'm struggling to win matches and need some match play strategies.  Whatever the need is I'm here to help!
