About Me

Hi, my name is Rick and I'm a PTR certified instructor. I'm a former member of the U.S. Virgin Islands Davis Cup tennis team and a USTA state and ALTA city champion. I have more than 25 years of competitive tennis experience, including local collegiate tennis and international competition. I'm an avid supporter of 10 and under tennis and youth tennis initiatives in the Caribbean. I have worked with tournament level juniors of all ages, adults and beginners. I help develop on-court match strategies and strengthen weaknesses.

Teaching Style

I believe in non-pressure teaching to establish basic fundamentals with an emphasis on building quality overall tennis game. This includes groundstrokes (forehand and backhand), volleys and serve. Learning the game should be fun first and foremost and always remain fun.
