About Me
Hi, my name is Oliver. I am 25-years-old and have been playing competitive tennis since I was a little boy. Started when I was around 6/7 years old. I am originally from Switzerland and was part of the Junior Davis cup team, traveling Europe to play competitive tournaments. As a family we moved to FL at age 14 I continued my tennis career in the U.S playing USTA/ITF tournaments.
Played D1 college at the University of Florida and graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University where I was the captain of the team and won the conference championship.
I reached a national junior ranking of 13 in the U.S and Nr 5 in Switzerland.
I decided to give back to the game and have been teaching since 2018. I’ve taught/ facilitated practice for beginners, intermediates and advanced level players in all age ranges.
My services are offered to any person, even if they have never picked up a racket. The only things required are an open mind, a body and obviously a tennis racket :)
Teaching Style
Depending on the player and goals of the player I will evaluate and structure practice around what I believe is best for the students progress.
Taking body type, level, stamina, strength into consideration I will structure practice in a way that will suit the students physical capabilities.
I focus on quality over quantity. We will not be hitting a million balls where I just expect you to get better. There will be a clear process to follow regardless if you are talented or not.
I like to make sessions fun, light, and potent…
Each session is an opportunity for discovery, insight and exploration !
Above all, enjoying every second we can play this sport while digging deeper into what it means to be a practitioner in tennis and life.
