About Me
I have been playing tennis since age six while growing up in Connecticut, played junior and varsity girls tennis for New Canaan High School and was a USTA junior member. I rekindled my love for tennis after moving to DC ten years ago and have played on local courts and leagues. I've also attended classes, clinics, matches and professional coaching workshops at Rock Creek Tennis Center, JTCC, Sea Colony Tennis Center, and East Potomac tennis centers. I lead adult cardio tennis classes at Lafayette Center in upper NW Washington D.C. with the Lafayette Tennis Association and previously served as head coach at Field School for the girls varsity tennis team. I hold a Level 1 PTR certification, am a USTA Mid-Atlantic member, USTA Safe Play and Red Cross certified, 2021 Capital Tennis Association Cap Classic mixed doubles Champion, and have volunteered for Citi Open Kids Day, at Arthur Ashe Kids Day at US Open, and USTA Annual Gala on behalf of USTA and USTA Mid-Atlantic. I offer private coaching and tailored youth and adult tennis, and enjoy helping players develop their overall tennis skills and routine with a focus on serves, baseline rallies, volley drills, and match play. I love all aspects of the game as a student, teacher, player and observer.
