About Me
I have played tennis for the last 15 years of my life. In that time, I have had professional lessons from the ages 12-18. I placed fifth in the Iowa high school state tennis tournament in 2006, finishing with a record of 17-1. I coached little league tennis my junior and senior year for Shenandoah, Iowa's park and recreation services for ages 5-12. I played for Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa, from 2011-2012. While at Ashford University, I was the volunteer assistant coach for the Men's and Women's tennis team and assisted with multiple youth camps during the 2013 season. I am currently assisting with Littleton High School's varsity girl's tennis team.
Teaching Style
I have a wide range of styles while giving lessons. It is important to find out the level and the strengths of the player before going into any specific lesson. I emphasize the basics of each and every stroke of the game. With repetition and communicating the correct form effectively, I believe everyone can learn the game of tennis. I structure my lessons based on the level of the player.
