About Me
I played high school tennis reaching no. 2 singles my senior year at George Washington High School in Denver, Colorado. After playing basketball at the University of Colorado and graduating, I played championship level tennis in Colorado. I competed in both singles and doubles tournaments for more than 15 years and in 2011 my brother and I were the no. 1 ranked team in 40's doubles in the state of Colorado. I have taught tennis independently, for parks and recreation, coached for the Aurora Public Schools, taught for Stapleton All Sports and run the Western Tennis Academy. This amounts to more than 20 years of teaching and coaching tennis.
Teaching Style
I excel in teaching skill acquisition. I am a firm believer in the importance of teaching the fundamentals of each particular shot needed to play tennis. The use of good form and technique is essential to the shot making process.
