About Me

Hello Tennis Students! My name is Anthony Coccimiglio. You can call me Coach. Tennis has always had a special place in my heart. I played competitively in middle and high school. I still play in tournaments from time to time. I have over 8 years experience teaching Tennis. I developed my own group and individual lesson plans over the time that I taught. I taught for a small town called Poquoson in their Parks and Recreation Department. I was the Assistant Coach for the girls High School team in Poquoson Va. I look forward to helping hone the many skills that are vital to becoming a competitive tennis player.

Teaching Style

My specialties are groundstrokes and serving. I emphasize technique, ball control and footwork. I enjoy the mental game of tennis also. Experts say that tennis is 70/30 mental to physical. I am able to adjust the type of lesson and skills needed to fit the player's needs. The further the person is in skill level the more the mental game becomes a factor.
