About Me

Hi, my name is Guy. I am a British tennis player and PTR Certified coach. I am In Buffalo, New York. I currently play at a 5.0 level (USTA) and have been a doubles player as well as competitive singles. I have a passion for the game, and enjoy everything about it; playing, watching, teaching, and talking about it. I am a fun loving, upbeat tennis pro who enjoys having fun in his lessons as well as creating a serious and solid foundation for the game of tennis. I have had students who were complete beginners who can now keep a rally of 10 shots or more, with solid ground strokes and the ability to serve well.

Teaching Style

I teach from the most difficult shot first; the serve. I will come back to this after the other ground strokes have been worked on thoroughly. As the student improves we add net drills and game play, with footwork and racket preparation.
