Hello! My name is Gloria and I'm 19 years old and I am from Italy. I am a student-athlete playing for the tennis team at Eastern Florida State College and I am currently doing my second semester so finishing my first year here, one of my passions is coaching! I really like coaching because I feel like it is rewarding to see my players develop their game and enjoy it in the process! From a personal point of view, I also love to meet new people and I believe that it can lead onto more opportunities and open doors which is one of the many beauties of coaching in my opinion. I started playing tennis when I was 6 years old and I have had experience playing in national tournaments around Italy and around Europe. Playing in these tournaments and having the luxury of traveling around my country and Europe has given me the opportunity to gather more and more knowledge throughout the years and it is always my pleasure to pass on what I have learned to my players!

My coaching style I would say is very easy going. What I like to do before taking the first lesson is to speak with the player about what they want to improve. I also believe in practicing the basics or in other words the 'fundamentals'. I believe in this because it is essentially the structure to everybody's tennis and whilst we work on that. I emphasize having fun during the process! Because I feel that if players have fun during the lesson, their rate of improvement will increase faster.
