About Me
Hi, my name is Don. I have taught tennis from beginner to tour level. Learning tennis should be fun and with that in mind, students will get more out of the lesson. Taught on the tour as a doubles specialist. USPTA uses my methods for their doubles clinics. I am a High Performance Instructor, as well as a certified high school tennis coach for the state of Florida.
Teaching Style
I am considered expert in doubles and will construct the lesson in a manner that will give you the information needed to reach the next level. You will learn the difference between club doubles and competitive doubles. You'll also learn the proper formation for doubles, game plans and shoot selection that will give you the winning edge.

I took six hours of lessons with Don over the course of 4 days. The private lessons really provided a fantastic opportunity for me to improve quickly. We worked on (almost) all the basic strokes and he helped me improve a lot on each. He sees when you haven't picked up an aspect of a stroke and both repeats and uses learning tools to help it sink in. I liked the learning tools - they are a clear visual reminder.
Don was wonderful and has a good sense of humor. He obviously knows tennis and how to motivate. He praises good work, but also tells you when your shot is "ugly". I definitely picked a fantastic teacher and I look forward to my next visit to get involved with his teaching more!
