About Me

I am originally from Perth, Western Australia, and was educated at one of Australia’s top schools. As a member of Western Australia’s state grade elite junior tennis program, I began playing competitive tennis at 12 years old. In 1999 I started a successful coaching career in Australia before traveling to Europe the following year and finding my way to the United States. My love of teaching young people drew me to the National Junior Tennis and Learning program that reaches out to under privileged children. The NJTL, co founded by Charlie Pasarell and Ramond Moore is operated out of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, home of the “fifth slam,” the BNP Paribas Open. In 2009, I coached the Palm Desert High School girls tennis team to a CIF Championship victory. Soon afterward I accepted a professional teaching position at the Tennis Garden and remained there through to October 2013. I am certified as a USPTA P1 Professional, a PTR Professional, a PTR 10&Under Professional, and a Cardio Tennis Authorized Provider.
