About Me

Hi, my name is Brian. I have been playing tennis competitively for 13 years now including playing at the collegiate level. I have also taught for a couple of years ranging from beginners to advanced high school age kids. My strengths on the court are serving and volleying but I also bring to the table an aggressive style of play that include going baseline to baseline.

Teaching Style

My all-time strength and what everyone notices is my serve specifically my kick(top)spin serve. While the serve is one of the top shots I value, consistency is something I like to emphasize because if you can't put the ball in play where you want to put it, then you can't win or keep a rally going. My lessons are structured with a quick warmup if necessary, followed by a progressive approach for any shots that you want/need to work on, and then a drill to help master that specific shot or group of shots.
