About Me
Hey! My name is Antonio, but I usually go by Tony, and I am a native of Barcelona, Spain. I was a captain for the USF and SMU men's tennis teams and played 5 years of Division 1 tennis. I have also been professionally ranked for 5 years (since I was 18) and have played in prestigious events such as the Dallas Open ATP 250. I have been coaching part-time for 7 years and have worked with people of all ages and levels, and I can't wait to work with you too!
Teaching Style
I can adjust to the objectives of the player; if I am coaching a more advanced player or a junior trying to get to college, I will probably focus on strategy and serves and returns more whereas if the player is more intermediate or has different objectives, I will probably focus more on technique and fundamentals. I can adjust to the player since I believe I have extensive knowledge of the game after playing and coaching for so many years.
