About Me
I am from Austin and have been playing tennis since I was 11. I went to Tyler College for a few years and learned how to teach this great sport. I then moved to Michigan to pursue my career. Where I was the head tennis professional for 20 years. I played tennis at Central Washington University. I have also played in many USTA open events in ladies singles. I was ranked No. 1 in singles, mixed doubles and women's doubles throughout my stay in Michigan. I am a USPTA professional with a P1 rating. I enjoy teaching tennis and you can feel the enthusiasm on the court.
Teaching Style
I believe anybody can learn how to play this sport but I also believe every student has to be treated individually. I'm very calm on the court and can analyze a flaw quickly in a student. I think private lessons are one of the best ways to learn how to play. And I emphasis a lot of practice time. I think keeping the lesson fun and interesting at all times is most important.
