These policies and procedures apply to all Instructors engaged by MyTennisLessons and its affiliates. Each instructor agrees to abide by the following policies and procedures:
As an MTL Instructor you are encouraged to follow these guidelines:
Secure facilities to conduct each lesson that are suitable and safe
Provide all necessary equipment to conduct each lesson (other than personal equipment to be brought by the student)
Attend and be punctual to each scheduled lesson
Exercise good judgment in his or her appearance at each lesson.
Ensure the student receives instruction for the entire time period allotted/specified for each particular lesson
Be responsive to contact, either via phone, text, or email, with both MTL employees and students. A response within at least 24 hours is recommended.
Sustain accurate and updated details regarding your availability, court locations and certifications
Represent MTL with enthusiasm, honesty, and integrity
As an MTL instructor you agree to the following guidelines:
It is your responsibility to log into your MTL Instructor Account to schedule and confirm any and all lessons conducted through MTL. This is the only way to ensure you get paid.
Anytime a student books lessons with you it is your responsibility to get in contact with the student within 48 hours, either via email or phone, to introduce yourself and confirm the first lesson.
Once contact has been made with the student either confirm them in your MTL account or contact us asap if you are unable to accept the new client.
You will receive the rate agreed upon for lessons purchased at that particular rate, unless specified otherwise.
You can not circumvent MTL by soliciting students obtained via MTL to pay you directly for lessons.
As an independent contractor with MTL you do not qualify for benefits available to MTL employees.
As required by law, we will report any earnings of over $600 with MTL to the Internal Revenue Service by filing a 1099MISC.
